I think we have all been there… Wanting to go to the gym, but will it be worth going if I only have 30 minutes? We all know it will. Sometimes it can just be hard to actually pick up yourself, pack your gym bag and leave the house.
So I thought that I would introduce you to some of my favorite training apps that I use at home or when we travel.
Talking of yoga this app provides users with 65 yoga and meditation classes. The classes range from 10 to 60 minutes and can be used by both beginners and experienced yoga girls (and boys). The classes are divided into different levels which means that you can always find something that will fit you.
I think the name of the app says it all. I use it for HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts to time both execise and rest. It is just so much easier than having to keep an eye on the clock.
7 minutes is a research-based app that I had heard so much about before trying it. It is (as the name says) a 7 minutes training program, where you train the entire body. The researchers behind the app have put together 12 exercises that can be done anywhere, anytime which makes it a brilliant travel companion. The researches’ idea behind the app is to work out seven minutes but achieve the equivalent of an hour’s workout. This means that you have to go “all in” and do the exercises at high-intensity and with very little rest in between.
The app accurately describes it: “Go from Couch Potato to Running the 5K”. This is a running app that helps you being able to run 5K.The app slowly guides you through each training pass. In the beginning you walk more than you run but over the weeks you will slowly start to run for longer distances ending up being able to run 5K.
