Booking Terms & Conditions

Away & Together is a travel service (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”), under the terms and conditions outlined below.

We provide a premium getaway planning and booking service that allows you and your companions (“you” or “your”) to select and purchase curated travel experiences, including accommodation, activities, dining, and special events from third-party suppliers, available individually or as part of a tailored package (“Escape” or “Getaway”).

We act as agents for the third-party suppliers of these experiences, and their specific terms and conditions (including policies on cancellation and amendments) will apply to your booking in addition to our terms and conditions.

By making a booking enquiry or request for an Escape with us, either online or by email, you agree that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.

Booking Process

  • Booking Request: To start your booking, submit a booking enquiry or request. Once we receive your booking request, we will send you a Booking Request Acknowledgment to confirm the details of your request. Please review this acknowledgment carefully and inform us immediately of any errors or necessary changes.

  • Booking Confirmation: After we receive your 30% deposit, your booking will be confirmed, and we will proceed with securing your Escape arrangements. At this stage, each co-traveler is considered bound by these terms and conditions as if they had made the booking request themselves. By finalising the booking, you agree to act as their agent and accept responsibility for the entire booking.

Availability

All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation with our third-party partners. While we strive to secure your preferred options, availability may vary.

Deposits and Payments

  • Deposit: A 30% deposit is required at booking to secure your Escape. This deposit includes a non-refundable booking fee component.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 14 days before departure. We will send you a reminder and a payment link.

  • Group Payment Options: For group bookings, we offer flexible payment options, allowing you to split payments among travellers if needed. Please let us know if you’d like this arrangement, and we will provide separate payment links.

Our Booking Confirmation will detail the amounts and required timings for your payment or payments for your booking. Your failure to pay strictly in accordance with those timings may result in a cancellation of your booking.

Cancellation Policy

  • Standard Cancellation Policy:

    • More than 6 weeks before departure: Full refund minus the 30% deposit.

    • Between 6 weeks and 4 weeks before departure: Full refund in credit form to be used towards your next escape with us, minus the 30% deposit.

    • Less than 4 weeks before departure: Unfortunately at this stage we can’t offer any refund or credit.

  • Special Conditions: Some packages or services may have unique cancellation terms, which will be specified at booking.

Amendments

If you wish to make any changes to your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. While we’ll do our best to accommodate changes, amendments may be subject to availability and additional fees.

Disclaimers and Liability

  • General Liability: We are not liable for injury, illness, property loss, or dissatisfaction with any aspect of your Getaway caused by third-party suppliers. You indemnify us against liabilities arising from your actions during the Escape.

  • Force Majeure: We are not responsible for disruptions due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters or political unrest).

  • Accuracy of Information: While we strive for accuracy, we are not liable for changes post-publication.

Health and Medical Information

  • Health Requirements: Confirm that you and your co-travelers are fit for travel. If you have medical concerns, consult a healthcare professional before booking.

  • Medical Conditions: Inform us of any medical needs at the time of booking. We cannot guarantee accommodation by third-party suppliers but will do our best.

  • Medical Emergencies: We are not liable for medical issues that may arise during your Getaway. Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover such instances.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain travel insurance to cover unexpected circumstances, including cancellations, medical issues, or travel disruptions. For those concerned about the possibility of last-minute cancellations, travel insurance can provide additional coverage, offering peace of mind in case changes are needed close to departure. Please check with your insurance provider for options that suit your specific needs.

Amendments to these Terms & Conditions

We may alter these terms and conditions at any time, subject to posting the revised terms and conditions on our website and/or notifying you by email or otherwise at least 72 hours before the alteration is made.
